They take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Depending on prayer times it will either be after Maghreb or Isha.

Is this course certified?
There is a certificate available to those interested from Al-Binaa Al-Ilmiyy:
- Certification of Attendance.
To get the Certification of Attendance you will have to attend 70% of the classes by filling out a register within 7 days of completing the class. To get the Certification of Completion you will have to complete all quizzes pertaining to all three subjects.

Can I join even if I haven’t studied Year 1?
Yes – we recommend catching up with from Year 1 to build solid foundations, you can still join later years. You’ll also have access to previous recordings and materials so you can catch up at your own pace.

Do I need basic knowledge before joining the Binaa programme?
No – the course is designed for complete beginners as well as those with some prior knowledge. We take you step by step, block by block, building a strong foundation in Islamic studies.

Who is this course suitable for?
The programme is open to both brothers and sisters, and is suitable for anyone aged 16+ who wants to learn Islamic knowledge in a structured way – whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience.

When are the classes?
Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at Green Lane Masjid. If you can’t attend in person, don’t worry – sessions are recorded so you can catch up later.

How do I attend these classes?
They are free to attend or watch from on our website. We highly stress attendance onsite due to the interaction between the teacher and student.

Do I have to enrol to attend?
There is no requirement for one to enrol as a pre-requisite. Al-Binaa have an open door policy and all is welcome. However, in order to attain a certification of attendance, one will have to fill out a register.

Do I have to attend/watch all the lessons to attain certification?
In order to attain certification (watch 70% of Season 1), one will have to attend or watch season 1 classes. However this is not a requirement to attend and benefit from the classes as we have an open door policy.

How do I access Year 1 content?
All Year 1 classes are recorded and uploaded to online. Once you register, you’ll receive information on how to join our telegram channel and links to all previous conten, so you can watch, review, and study the content whenever you need.

What if I don’t have any Islamic knowledge – can I still join?
Absolutely. Many of our students begin their journey with little or no background. Our teachers explain concepts clearly and guide you from the very beginning.

Can I join online?
Yes – the programme is recorded and accessible online. You can study from anywhere in the world and study from the comfort of your home.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes – students who complete the programme will receive a certificate of completion, recognising your achievement and dedication to seeking knowledge.

Can I join partway through the year?
Yes – you’ll receive access to previous recordings and resources so you can catch up and continue smoothly with your class.
