BINAA, meaning “building your knowledge”, is a dedicated programme at Green Lane Masjid designed to provide a structured path in seeking Islamic knowledge. It covers core areas including ʿAqīdah to strengthen your belief in Allah and the fundamentals of faith, Fiqh to learn how to worship correctly and live by Islamic rulings, and Sīrah to connect with the life, character and example of the Prophet ﷺ. The classes take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the programme is open to all, both in the Masjid and online, ensuring no one misses the opportunity to learn and grow.

Alḥamdulillāh you’ve made your first step by starting your journey in seeking knowledge which is a path to entering Jannah as the Prophet ﷺ said:
من سلك طريقا يلتمس فيه علما سهل الله له به طريقا إلى الجنة
The one who follows a path seeking knowledge, Allāh will make him find a path to Jannah. (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
This is the first step but make sure your intention from the beginning of your journey is one where you want to get closer to Allāh through ‘Ilm. This is Islamic knowledge and it requires resilience and ṣabr.
